Finally tried out my new orgasmic oil pastels. I'm not too great with the medium yet, so I shat out this crappy frog drawing. Apparently soft pastels don't go over oil pastels too well.
oh yea francis, thought i'd leave something actually constructive. sometihng i do very often... well, digitally it's not as necessary cuz i just zoom far out to look at it. but blur and stand back. and see what area requires more depth. more depth, u can get from shadows and highlights. blur, and then imagine parts of the image with dark or light, if it fits, then great, do it. when u apply the dark or light, dont be afraid, JUST DO IT. just put it DOWN! or u can do small colour studies with pencil crayons first.. so u KNOW that it will work... up to u.
